Tullio Buccellato

Economist, Economic and Market Analysis

Tullio Buccellato is an Economist in the Economic and Market Risk Analysis division at the ESM, which he joined in December 2020 in the framework of the Italian Presidency of the G20.

Prior to joining the ESM, he worked five years at the Economic Research Department of Confindustria with a focus on emerging markets and on the export potential and competitiveness of the Italian manufacturing system. Before that, he worked at Earnst & Young for two years in their Paris office and one in their Milan office, where he contributed to the management and implementation of projects for international institutions such as the European Commission and the World Bank by providing technical expertise on economics and statistics. Tullio also served for three years at the Economic Interpretation Division at the Office for National Statistics in the UK.

Tullio holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a degree in Political Sciences from the University of Rome La Sapienza.
