Sofie De Beule-Roloff
Sofie De Beule-Roloff was the Chief Operating Officer of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) until April 2024.
Prior to her appointment to the Management Board in 2019, Ms De Beule-Roloff was Head of Human Resources and Organisation at the ESM since 2012. Previously, she was engaged in the field of Human Resources across various industries and different cultural environments for more than fifteen years.
Ms De Beule-Roloff graduated from the Erasmushogeschool in Brussels and holds a professional certification in Human Resources Management from ICN Business School in Nancy. She also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in Employment Law and Practice from De Montfort University in Leicester. In parallel to her work at the ESM, Ms De Beule-Roloff is currently conducting a doctoral research with Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and Ghent University on the impact of EU policymaking on environmental and social justice.
