Giulia Fusi

Giulia Fusi is a Banking Expert in the Financial Sector and Market Analysis division at the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) since January 2022.  Before joining the ESM, she worked for two years in the Directorate General Research at the European Central Bank.

Ms Fusi holds a Ph.D. in Finance & Risk at the Nottingham University Business School, where she was also awarded an MSc in Banking. Her main research interests lie in applied microeconomics with a focus on bank risk and performance, financial intermediation and financial stability. Her research output has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
