
Efstathios Sofos
Efstathios Sofos is a Principal in the Economic Risk Analysis division of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). He has worked on all EFSF and ESM financial assistance programmes, with a particular focus on the Greek programmes.
Before joining the ESM in June 2013, Mr Sofos worked for over 10 years in the Greek banking sector, in the field of project/structured finance, on a large number of financing and advisory projects in the infrastructure, energy, and real estate sectors.
He is a graduate of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (holding a BA in Public Administration – Public Economics) and also holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
